Safe Implant Technology has taken the first step towards MDR approval of our patented product GP5. Yesterday medical device implants were implanted, and preclinical trial will continue for the next 9 weeks to evaluate safety and efficacy of biocompatibility.
This is a great achievement for Safe Implant Technology and will provide an even stronger proof of concept for GP5 and application of the product on a variety of the surfaces used for medical device implants.
The trial will be followed by a long duration trial to proof GP5 ability of ensuring biocompatibility, together with maintaining sensibility and precision stability in CGM sensors and other implantable sensors.
