Claus Jarrels, Partner at Safe Implant Technology (SIT), has landed in Singapore for the Singapore Week of Innovation and Technology (SWITCH), 27–29 October 2026. He is here with an international Eureka delegation, and the energy is already high. The goal: find where SIT’s patented GP5 technology can meet the needs of medical device developers.

Day one: Global Networking Night
The first evening started with the SWITCH Global Networking Night, hosted by Enterprise Singapore. With the Singapore skyline glowing from illuminated cubes on both sides, the room was filling with innovators, researchers and company founders from around the world. For Claus, it was the ideal first stop for meeting new people and starting conversations about the body’s response to implants. We are excited about what the next two days will bring.
Why Singapore, and why SWITCH
SWITCH gathers innovation ecosystems, research institutions, technology companies and investors in one place. SIT took part through the Eureka network, which brought together businesses looking for new routes to technology development and international collaboration. For a Danish MedTech company, that meant direct access to manufacturers, researchers and potential technology partners.
